Kenton Gray Racing started its life as Freedom Motorsports Group, Inc. founded in January 2001 by Kenton Gray to forward a passion for racing.
In 2006, Kenton announced Kenton Gray Inc, replacing Freedom Motorsports Group Inc. as the management corporation for all of his sports and entertainment activities, and his racing program became Kenton Gray Racing (KGR). KGR carries forward the goal and vision to build a solid motorsports organization that provides the technical, marketing and administrative resources to support Kenton Gray's career as a professional ARCA/ReMAX and NASCAR Series driver.
KGR is now building a foundation that is moving Kenton Gray toward the top ranks of NASCAR. Of the many things that make up a successful racing team none seems more vital than solid marketing partnerships. The 2007 season marked a key milestone with the much anticipated announcement regarding the alliance between KGR, SportsBlast and SportsBlast founder Nancy Cartwright – voice of Bart Simpson.
This alliance has brought Kenton Gray as a developing NASCAR driver together with one of the hottest voice actors in Hollywood, who also produced a hit animated series called The Kellys which streamed on NASCAR.com. 2008-2009 will mark the introduction of a brand new national reality show by Kenton Gray and SportsBlast which is dedicated to high-performance driving. This will allow KGR to provide unique promotional opportunities that will catapult the success of KGR's marketing partnerships and enable Kenton and his team to focus on winning races. KGR actively engages in all aspects of the business of professional motorsports, including the acquisition, management and activation of corporate sponsor relationships, marketing and promotion, publicity and media.
